Feast on the Farm

Go behind the scenes with a guided tour and fall harvest lunch at Green Valley Farm + Mill, a regenerative farm & ranch in the heart of west Sonoma County.

ITINERARY

Start the day off with a tour of Green Valley Community Farm, led by head farmers David & Kayta to learn about and taste some of their 200 varieties of vegetables, flowers, herbs, berries and specialty crops grown for their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.

Afterwards, head over to the shaded arbor for an outdoor seasonal feast prepared by resident chef Kim LaVere.

Lunch includes two dishes featuring the farms weekly harvest, our signature cheese & charcuterie boards and seasonal dessert, all paired with libations from our favorite local producers,

Outdoor tables will be set with ample, socially distant space between groups and each seating will be capped at 12 total guests.

While the food and scenery were sensational, and the farming techniques interesting, what impressed us most was Alex’s warmth and attentiveness to our needs and experience.

Food and Farm Tours did an amazing job of planning out a fantastic foodie experience full of gorgeous views and delicious food! I highly recommend this for anyone who is interested in learning about and eating their way through the farm-to-table movement.

The attention to detail Alexandra put into our event was outstanding, and she was very communicative and responsive to last minute details and hiccups. Dietary restrictions and accessibility concerns were no problem. It even rained on our event day but it didn’t affect the event negatively at all.
