I've taken food tours all over the world and this is by far one of the best tours I've ever been on. West Marin and Sonoma already have some of the best food in North America and this tour puts all of that yummy deliciousness on full display.

This tour is ABOVE AND BEYOND anything I expected. You could tell Alex had great relationships with all the businesses we visited, she truly acted as an extension of those companies. Well worth the price tag!

We spent an AMAZING day tasting and learning about the foods and farms of West Marin county. Cheeses, oysters, sparkling mead, grass fed meats, fresh breads, etc. Our guide was brilliant, she was full of information and a great sense of humor! We cannot wait to sign up for another tour!

What a fantastic tour! I cannot recommend it enough! I learned so much about the area, got to eat amazing local cheeses, and even got to hold a baby goat! What a spectacular way to see and experience Marin County.

I particularly enjoyed our time at Hog Island Oyster company. I have been there several times before, but having such a nice table near the beach was very special. This was a great tour that I would definitely recommend to friends from both near and far away!

If you like oysters you will have the time of your life. Some oysters were served with their special mignonette, some were grilled, some with barbecue sauce, etc. All were fabulous! You won't need dinner! Wonderful day and a fantastic tour!

It could not have been better. We had fun excursions to Green Valley Community Farm and to Tomales Farmstead Creamery. Then we used the local produce we got and created a festive Thanksgiving dinner with several innovative recipes that I am sure will get on our Thanksgiving table for many years to come.

Alex picked us up in her van and transported us up to Toluma Farm in Tomales where we had a great tour, learned about making cheese from sheep and goats, followed by a cheese tasting. We followed it up with a cooking class inside a very nice farmhouse with great views…
