Mead Mojitos

Out here in West Marin, we enjoy our warm Indian Summers. A refreshing cocktail is a must. My personal favorite is the Mead Mojito. If you’ve been on one of my tours or to one of my dinners, you know how crazy I am about the Heidrun Sparkling Mead. I love it on its own, but sometimes I’m in the mood for something extra special…

Here’s the recipe (couldn’t be easier!):

INGREDIENTS:

1 handful mint leaves
3 slices of lime
Ice
1 cup Heidrun Orange Blossom Mead
1 cup ginger ale

INSTRUCTIONS:

Put the mint leaves and lime slices in a 16 oz mason jar and muddle.
Add crushed ice. Muddle some more.
Add mead and ginger ale and stir.

Enjoy!
