Elizabeth Ann Hill is a certified Natural Chef, UC Master Gardener, Stanford graduate, and credentialed teacher with a Masters degree in Education. She has had a life-long love affair with West Marin and is delighted to have combined her passions for food, farming, education, hospitality and travel in her unique culinary tour company.
As a child, Elizabeth spent her weekends and summers in West Marin, sailing on Tomales Bay with her grandfather, picking huckleberries for her grandmother’s tarts and swimming at the local beaches. She is thoroughly endeared to the land and is committed to supporting the community.
Food & Farm Tours was born in the spring of 2012 when Elizabeth invited her culinary school friends to a weekend retreat at her family’s cabin in West Marin. She took them on a tour to taste the local wines, cheeses and oysters and they decided Elizabeth should make a business out of it! Elizabeth now offers several different tours and is honored to be able to share her love and knowledge of West Marin’s incredible food culture with her guests.
