Alexandra Fox, a Marin County native, has her MBA in Sustainable Enterprise from Dominican University of California and a B.A. in Environmental Economics and Sustainable Agriculture from UC Santa Cruz. She has 10+ years experience working with a variety of businesses from start-ups to non-profits primarily in the organic food industry. In her most recent stint as the Sustainability Manager at Straus Family Creamery, she had the opportunity to work directly with the owners and management on both farming and food production sustainability strategy, as well as serve as the company spokesperson on practices such as carbon farming, water reclamation, organic standards, etc.

Alexandra is passionate about using agriculture as a means to create resilient futures in the face of climate change. She believes wholeheartedly that restoring people’s connection to food can change the world. In her spare time, she enjoys being out in nature, hiking, practicing yoga, traveling, trying new restaurants, and eating and cooking great local, organic food!

Katy Quilici, a West Marin County native, is a certified California Naturalist, Wilderness First Responder, and holds a degree in psychology from Sonoma State University focusing in eco-psychology. Katy is passionate about environmental and social stewardship, and believes that thriving communities starts with having a committed relationship with the land. Healthy land equals healthy people. Katy has been an outdoor facilitator for over 5 years, guiding through Yosemite and the Southwest for international travelers. She is thrilled to be back in her native land, educating people about sustainable farming models and connecting folks to the inspiring region she calls home. In her spare time you will find Katy on the trails with her horse, farming, studying herbalism, or camping in the backcountry.
